Hi bees! I need some help! I posted a few months ago about having issues with my split shank halo from Jared. Long story short, the ring kept coming in defective (3 times over a 5-6 month period) and there was nothing they could do to repair it. After a month long battle with customer service, I still could not get a refund for my engagement ring, diamond, and wedding band (they only agreed to refund the engagement ring, since there isn’t anything wrong with the diamond or band). They did finally agree to do an even exchange with the most similar ring they had available, a Scott Kay for about double the cost.
I finally got the new Scott Kay ring in and my diamond set, but I’m still not sure if I like it as much as my original ring. I don’t know how I feel about the gap with my wedding band. I think since they are so similar, I can’t help but compare them. At this point I’m so frustrated, stressed, and worried I’ll end up with something I don’t love, that I wish I didn’t have a ring to worry about at all.
